Usual discussions and jolly chats!  Also to discuss which paths need our volunteers’ attention.

Everyone welcome!   We need you if you are interested in improving our local bridleways around Rusper, Newdigate, Charlwood, Capel and Holmwood.


Please come and volunteer for vegetation and overgrowth clearance.   Future venues and dates to be decided.     

Mostly 10 am starts, but any time given is appreciated.    Refreshments and tools supplied or bring own if preferred.   Jeans and gloves might be a good idea too!   This is officially organised by Surrey County Council’s Volunteer Co-ordinator, Barry Wildish.   Contact Penny for more info.

Quiz Evening

Saturday, 24th October, 2015, at The Lamb, near Rusper, RH12 4RG – 01293 871336

Delicious lasagna and a great fun Countryside themed Quiz – tickets were £10 and included food.  Raffle was very popular too!   Team trophy won by The SOGS!

Tuesday, 1st September, 2015 – 7.30 at The Plough, Rusper.

Summer Evening Garden Party was held:-

Saturday, 22nd August, 2015, at 6 pm.   At Penny & Richard’s.   Lovely weather and great food!   About 36 of us enjoyed ourselves!

Monday, 6th July, 2015 – 7.30 for 8 pm – at The Lamb, Lambs Green, Rusper.

Tuesday, 24th March, 2015, held at The Plough, Rusper.

Tuesday, 6th January, 2015, held at The Lamb.

AGM – Tuesday, 4th November, 2014  held at The Lamb, Lambs Green, near Rusper, RH12 4R


Last year’s Summer Party was held on Saturday, 9th August 2014

A great evening with the best lasagne ever!    Meat produced and supplied by Peter and cooked by Roly and Liz.   Yummy puds!  Held at Penny’s
